may have a screwed up washer seal on the hot side..it will stop the flow to a degree and allow more cold water in..calls for dismantling the entire control or replacing it..
There should be a hot water limiter behind the knob on the shower - shingle handle, undo the handle and move the adjustment to allow more hot water. Not familiar with mira discovery mixer
Buy a current tester( under a tender) and test if supply is going to pull cord (remove the 2screws on cover of pull cord. )Ifyou have power then it's you pull cord that needs replaced if not its mains fuse
Hi,
Pull the knob off...usually the screw is behind a cover in the center of the knob...
Behind the knob you will find a nut that is the packing nut ... this is what keeps the water from running out around the stem...turn that nut clockwise a quarter to a half turn or until snug...
this iwll fix your leak...
Switch off the power supply to the shower at the consumer unit, it will probably have its own individual circuit breaker as it is such a heavy user of power. Try now to switch the shower, it should be dead and that is good. Remove the control knobs and remove the front of the shower unit. Check the electrics with an electrical screw driver to make sure that there is nothing that will cause electrocution. Trace the source of the leak, the most likely place is the compression joint to the mains water pipe. Tighten the compression nut until the dripping stops. Dry everything off with a paper towel and check there is no sign of further leaking. Reassemble the front with the knobs and switch the power back on.
