Broken phone phones screen keeps going white and then turning itself off, phoned 02 and they told me to download software for it but dont know how to find it.

take it to a radio shack store or to a cell phone provider like sprint or att and have them reset your phone. It normally does not cost anything but ask first to be sure. good luck.
The problem that you are experiencing right now is software corruption. You need to re-program your phone with a newer firmware. Try to contact LG and ask for the latest firmware for your phone.

The display is not the problem. Its the OS of the phone it does that (on a regular basis i might add) you need to reistall the phones software.Get to a service shop its a very simple thing to be done.I have the same problem and i'm now serching for ways to do this my self but for now thats the best advise i can give.And by the way dont turn your phon on and off on a regular basis ( Like when you go to sleep) that send the software to hell.
if the logo turns up on the screen and it freezes there it means the software of the phone "crashed"
i dont know if your phone is simlock free if it is you might want to try a diffrent sim in the phone first.
if it gives the same problem then it is the software that is having a conflict and the only way to fix that is to send it to the manufacturer.
if its not turning on at all try turning it on with the adapter in the phone and no battery in it.
if it wont turn on that way then at least you know its not your battery that is broken.
but in any of these cases its best to bring it back to the store especially if you got guerentee on it.
if not and the phone is not expansive i suggest you look for a new phone repair bills for such problems can be more expansive then the phone itself.
the white and black screen issue on the Razr V3xx can be a bad LCD. If the LCD is good then the issue is on the main board. The most common failure is broken contacts on FL6505 and FL6504. resoldering might hold up for a while but replacement is the best option.
the side view clearly shows the damage to the filter. this is only visible after the solder is removed.
