Although it still works perfectly every time I boot up or move any file or photo on my PC it keeps trying to install Roxio and I have to cancel it out every time. It is a pain. What can I do please to rectify this.

Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
and remove ROXIO.

Then, access http://www.MajorGeeks.com
and download "AShampoo V6 Burning Free Edition" and install it.
Great software, and Version 9 (which is not "free") is even better.

Virus attacked my computer and the application says trial expired, I had no trial I paid for my roxio

Uninstall the application, turn off the computer, wait for 30 secs, turn on again, reinstall the MyDVD and reintroduce the license key you have.
If this not fix, maybe you should have to repeat the process but, before, make the next:
- run the "regedit" tool and clean all the information that had stored in the registry file about Roxio MyDVD;
- delete all folders wich happens to exist in the "programs files" and "my documents" folders related to Roxio MyDVD;
- browse to "c:\documents and settings\(YOUR NAME)\locals configurations (I don't know if this is the correct name in your lang, cause i'm brazilian, and here is this way) \temp" directory and delete all files that have in it.
Now, you are ready to reinstall your app.
If this not fix, contact the Roxio Support and say you've lost the license key. They'll send you a new LK. I think...
Good luck, man.

Cant load roxio 2011 code error oood plaese tell me what to do its been 6hrs now cleaned everything please please

Please refer to the steps below and follow it carefully as it will help you resolving the problem.
  1. Disable your startup applications using MSCONFIG. This will disable any unnecessary background or system tray applications from loading.

    • Go to Start -> Run. Type "msconfig" (without quotes) then click OK.
    • Select the Startup tab.
    • Click the Disable All button.
    • Click the Apply button, then click the OK button.
    • Click the Restart button.

    To reverse this at the end of installation, go back into MSCONFIG and select Enable All and restart (that can be done once installation is complete).

  2. If you are installing from a physical disc, please try to copy the content of the disc to a folder on your hard drive then install from the hard drive. To do this:
    • Create a new folder on your Desktop.
    • Go to Start -> My Computer, then right-click on the Creator installer disc and select Explore.
    • Select ALL of the files in the installer window and copy to the folder you just created.
    • To install from the folder, double click the setup.exe file.

  3. If you are installing from downloaded files, please follow the steps below to delete the temporary files then try to reinstall again.
    • Go to Start -> Run. Type "%temp%" (without quotes) then click OK. The Temp folder will show up.
    • Go to Edit -> Select All.
    • Go to File -> Delete.
    • Reinstall software

Problem with installed Roxio program not opening when prompted

Bro, I can fix this

Editing software is a must but can be expensive. Roxio is great.

This is my best advise to get everything you need.

Go to www.Myspace.com/KyleGallas to watch a video of a Custom Gaming Computer with Tons of editing software like Roxio...The PC has like $4,000 retail for like $659. It comes with a ton of extras like Cyberlink Power Director, 133 Nintendo DS Games, Fallout 3, Adobe CS4 Master Collection, MS Office Ultmate 2007, Roxio Ultimate 2009...and more...Nothing is trial-ware but yours forever.

Roxio Easy VHS to DVD install causes PC to hang up.

Do you have any other conflicting software or any other Roxio software? Any other Roxio or Sonic software will cause errors with Easy VHS to DVD.

It's also recommended to download the Service Pack from the Roxio.com site.

Every time i turn on windows the roxio media manager keeps loading and does not turn off. how do i get ride of it

Once the system is booted up click the start button on the taskbar, click run, type msconfig in the box and enter. That gets you into the startup files where you can remove Roxio from the startup. That does not delete Roxio from the system, it just stops it from opening at startup. If Roxio starts upon start after that, then there is some application starting that requires Roxio, and you will need to address that issue. That rogue application should also be visible in the startup list so you can remove it thereby fixing the issue. Be sure to save the settings.
