Xbox 360 My console won't start up, there is a weird noise coming from the inside of it, and there is air coming out from the back. This has never happened before

Hey shadraq,

Try this. This happened to a friend of mine too.

Remove the hard drive from the console, and turn it on.

If it comes on without the hard drive, then it may be an issue with the hard drive

If it STILL doesn't come on, then it look slike you may have more issues then you can see, and may have to contact microsoft. I know it sucks, but it looks like the only options.

Sounds like the drive is very dirty, or going out. Try cleaning it, or just replace it.

The power supply makes a weird noise (like the ventilator gets stucked) and the light of it in the back is orange.

If the light in the back is orange that means it is not on, i would go to xbox.com and go to the support page for help.

My xbox 360 is very loud, how can i fix this?

this is normal with the stock xbox fans, what i did was to get XCM High Speed Air Cooler v2.0 for Xbox 360.
since that come with its own lcd display and u can control the fans inside. makes it really quiet. hope this helps

When you pulled the controller, and the Xbox made the "weird noise" it was probably caused by the game sliding out of the tray. This can happen when a disk is spinning in the console and the console suddenly jerks in any direction.

If you don't have the tools to open your 360 go to best buy or an office supply store and get a can of compressed air and blow the dust out of the dvd drive. If that doesn't work then the lens needs to be cleaned with a q-tip and alcohol. This has worked for me on numerous occasions.
