Here the list of FUJTISU SIEMENS-AMILO models and where the wireless switch is located. Hope this will helps. Check what family your laptop belongs to then turn on the wireless swith using the list below:


Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A Series ---- Button above the keyboard on top right
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D Series ---- Button above the keyboard on top right
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo K Series ---- Not Wireless
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L/EL Series ---- Fn / F1 to turn on/off
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo La Series ---- Fn / F2 to turn on / off
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li Series ---- Easy launch button (one of 3) on top of keyboard

try downloading a wireless driver from your manufactorers website

I have been through this myself, the software you are missing is called Launch Manager. Browse to Li 2727 on http://ts.fujitsu.com/support/downloads.html and download the drivers for vista, verified working on win7 ultimate. Install launch manager and the wireless + brightness hotkeys will work again without any further setup!

If your problem is the common FN+F1(wireless) and F8/9 for brightness don't work, then you might have lost the Launch Manager software; Browse to Li 2727 on http://ts.fujitsu.com/support/downloads.html and download the launch manager for vista, verified working on win7 aswell. Install launch manager and reboot; the wireless + brightness hotkeys will work again without any further setup!

hi m8 you just have to go to the fujitsu siemens website locate your laptop and install the vista hot key software that will solve it

Please uninstall the driver though Device Manager and get it install from the disc given by manufacture website or download the latest driver.
Path is :

My Computer(right click)->Properties ->Hardware->Network Adaptor

Fn+F1

Try downloading the automatic driver update tool from the website.
This should normally fix this problem by updating all drivers.
