There are some wireless card which doesn't support verizon fios.Check out if your Card is supported or not.if not supported ask their Customer service for a USB wireless Card Brand and its specification which with work fine with verizon fios.

since you have verizon modem wireles router.. i have the same issue with the same model...I call verizon and tell the issue...verizon accepted that modem router have problem in wireless...i know that all my computers have no issues because i maintain and built those computer by me..
then Verizon send a new and different modem router...this time it works fine...since i received it last week. call Verizon regarding the wireless issues ..tell them too that you have some dead spot on your wireless..like if you move away more than 15 feet..your wireless connection get lost..

if you just hook up the DSL as verizon say, then you will have a open wireless network, anybody can get access to your network.
The standard I-Mate K-Jam doesn't support CDMA2000 and so shouldn't be able to connect to Verizon Wireless.
You may find you can get basic voice and text over there older GSM infrastructure but you will not get data.
If you have a Verizon Wireless SIM card then you are a Verizon Wireless customer and therefor entitled to support from them, so why not give them a call and ask if you will be able to get any services on there network with your choice of phone? If you don't have a Verizon Wireless SIM card yet why not ask the salesperson when you go to buy one?
