What is the model of your Nokia phone? Did you try getting the unlock code from TESCO network? If not, You can try getting the unlock code also from any reliable third party service. You can visit the site www.mobileunlockguide.com To get free unlocking instructions. This will help you understand unlocking process better.
It all depends if the phone is sim free (allows any network) some phones are locked to one network and need unlocking (around £5 - £10) The only way to see is if you put the tesco sim into your phone. If it doesnt accept the sim your phone will need unlocking.
you can change the unlock code if you knw the security code of your phone......simply press the button with this logo '--- ' when your phone asks for the unlock code.....then after you have kept it pressed it for a while , you will see the unlock code changing to enter the security code............this should serve you good......enjoy
Even thought your phone is unlocked from virgin the software is still a virgin viewity software. your can try and press on the arrows <<<<>>>>> at the bottom of the screen when the come up this will allow you to remove the network label but not on startup that requres a mobile shop to reflash the phone with generic software which will cost up to £25 shop around
tesco just put their logo on top of IE (I'm assuming you used to use tesco before virgin). you're still accessing through virgin now so should be no problem.
are you seeing any problems or is it just the annoyance of still seeing tesco in IE?
