Check the power outlet with a lamp. If ok, check inside the case for a blown fuse. If so, there is probably a short in either the magnetron high-voltage supply (a shorted HV diode or possibly a shorted stirrer bearing--a fan-like device with a plastic bearing that is located within the waveguide that delivers energy from the magnetron to the cooking cavity.

How to get the burnt popcorn smell out of your micrwave!

Put a bowl of charcoal in the mico, not matchlite or any other kind that has lighter fluid in it, leave it in the micro for 2 days then change out the charcoal for freash charcoal, you might need to do this for a week or so but it works everytime!

Microwave problem

switch is inside so remove sheet metal. switch is on right side front and usually mounted with screws. Some are soldered to a circuit board. Remove switch and replace. Might have to move mechanism out of the way to install sw. There are numbers on the switch so you can find a replacement.
good luck!!!

Without you taking the cover off and looking at any damage all I can suggest is the services of a microwave engineer is required.
