I just recently bought a Polaroid t1234 from walmart and ive only had it for 2 weeks. When i turn the camera on the screen turns pink or has pink lines running across the screen. When the camera is like this it wont take any pictures, if i do the pictures turn out pink just like the screen. I dont have the receipt and so i cant take it back but i want to know what is wrong with it or how much it will be to get it fixed.
Re: I just recently bought a Polaroid t1234 from walmart...
The CCD image sensor chip is faulty, take it back for replacement. You do not need a receipt, If you paid by debit/credit card, use your paper statement as proof of purchase

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
What kind of camera, and film, did you buy? Polaroid discontinued production of film in 2006, and the only remaining film is old stock, or available from the impossible project. There are other types of film available, but not compatable with all types of polaroid cameras. This information will have a HUGE impact on the solution to your problem.
1) Type of camera (not just Polaroid, they made HUNDREDS of models)
2) Type/Size/Brand of film
The easy solution is to buy a small "card reader" that you stick your card in and then insert in a USB port to read it. You can check the site for drivers in their support section if you still want to use a cable.
If it won't turn on after charging then it is probably defective, try returning it. If the new one does the same thing then maybe you are missing something.
