My pinnacle studio plus version 11 will not play any videos if they're in the playback window or not...someone please help me. Ian

When I go to load Pinn 11Ultimate, I get error 'no IRQ etc...have trioed the patch idea but I am just a dinosaur with the method.help...

I have unistalled my pinnacle system and I need to re install it. But when I try it tells me I need to get windows service pack 2. I have windows service pack 3. what can I do to re instsall my dics and...
Did some searching for you, Give this a try.

May 12th, 2008: Some customers reported problems installing Studio Plus version 11 UPGRADE (11.0) or Studio version 11 Standard (11.0) on systems with Windows XP Service Pack 3 was already installed (a message asking for Windows XP Service Pack 2 is displayed). Pinnacle is investigating this problem.

We can offer you the following workaround:

  • Copy all the content of the Installation DVD of Studio version 11 to your hard disk in a new folder.
  • Download http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Studio11/WelcomeSP3.exe
  • Copy the file WelcomeSP3.exe to the root of the directory where the Installation DVD was copy
  • Double-click on WelcomeSP3.exe to launch it. It will take few seconds and then the Studio version 11 installation will start.

No sound in Pinnacle Studio Plus 11
This applies for windows vista only please check the volume control on the lower right corner in your desktop. Try to click the volume control icon then click the MIXER then look for the pinnacle studio program probably it might be muted.

I am running pinnacle Studio Plus 11 on vista and when i watch videos in mts format in the preview window the video skips however the audio is fine. I dont know if its a video processor problem on my end...
Just to clarify where did the video come from?

Please tell me the name of your camcorder and the model of it.

Also try to do this. Try to use the sample video then try to play it back if you will get the same result. If the sample video plays fine the problem will be in the video that your using probably the resolution of that video is to high.
