I would check for a blown thermal fuse or faulty heating element. These components can be tested using a multimeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty component. The thermal fuse is about one inch long and is located in the rear of the dryer, usually attached to the exhaust duct. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Keep getting "AF" code even after cleaning and washing lint trap and cleaning all hoses from back of unit all the way to out of house.

your description is common when there is a blockage , or blower not moving, I would take it apart again and reassemble to make sure everything is put together correctly.

Kenmore 110.66902690 electric dryer does not dry completely

Dear Barry,
Try 2 things.
One, be certain the clothes are very dry coming out of the washing machine.
If the washer leaves the clothes wet ( like the belt might be slipping), it can take the dryer forever to finish drying the clothes.
You can tell by hand-wringing them.
You should not be able to get any water out of them by hand-wringing after they have spun dry in the washer.
Two, try running a load with the vent hose unhooked off the back of the dryer.
If this fixes the problem, you are having a "clogged vent" issue somehow.
Be blessed.

Thor laundry system won't dry clothes I have a thor no venting washer/dryer combo machine, that has been working fine for years. Suddenly it is not drying clothes and instead, clothes are soaking wet...

I am having the same problem on a WD9900A. The wash cycle works great. Spins fast and clothes are completely rung out. Dryer cycle heats up well. Fluffs and heats cloths. At some point during dry cycle water is injected on clothes and they end up sopping wet; much wetter than after wash. Filter is clear. Outlet pipe clear and functions well. Possible problem with dryer timer? Or washer timing kicking back on?

Dryer wont dry my clothes

Your heating element is not working. The element could be burnt out or the high temperature switch is bad.

6th cycle and clothes are still extremely wet.

Are you cleaning the lint filter after each load?

(Pull it out of the top of the dryer or inside the door and clean it )

Can you go outside and find the vent where the dryer exhausts air? when the dryer is running with clothes in it, is there air coming out? If not, It is plugged.

Whether you think it is pluggged or not,, go back inside and pull the dryer out from the wall carefully. If it is a stack job, get help!
Now the 6" diameter rippled tubing that connects from your dryer to the wall can be removed by loosening the clamp on the dryer with a screw dryer. I think you should carefully unplug the dryer before you start this!
Loosen the clamp and pull the hose off the back of the dryer. It may be full of lint and all sorts of interesting things which you need to clean out. Or you may find that it is not even connected. When you are satisfied that it is clean. place it back on the dryer (MAKE SURE it is not twisted) and tightened the clamp back on very well with the screwdriver. When you push the dryer back in place be careful not to push it in so far that you collapse this vent hose or twist it.

That's the dryer. NOW, when you remove the clothes from the washer do they feel still full of water? Is the washer spinning well and removing most of the water? If it is not this can cause your dryer to take forever to dry the clothes and it can also cause your dryer to overheat.

Whether you have a pile up of lint in your lint filter and hose or the washer is not spinning correctly, both are a huge fire hazard for the dryer, so TAKE CARE of this NOW. Please. and Good luck!

Dryer not drying

Check your lint filter. Put it under running water to see if the water goes through it. Chances are it is clogged up. Wash it and put it back. Should do the trick.
