I believe the control's child lock function is enabled. To disable it, press and hold the cancel key (will have small padlock icon under the word "cancel"). That should clear the condition.

It's either the thermostat / switch or the timer unit. Make sure the timer was not set to have turned off the grill first

If your electric oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...

The clock will generally only be linked to the main oven. Can you comment on this post with the make and model and I may be able to assist with setting the clock, If the make is a siemens (as this is the section that you have posted the question in), follow the link below and download the manual to assist with the setting of the clock.
