My wall oven will not work. The clock is flashing '0:00 auto', I don't have a manual but the grill works???? Also tried pushing the buttons to set the clock and they don't do anything either???? Is this something to do with setting the clock or is there something wrong with this oven??

The clock will generally only be linked to the main oven. Can you comment on this post with the make and model and I may be able to assist with setting the clock, If the make is a siemens (as this is the section that you have posted the question in), follow the link below and download the manual to assist with the setting of the clock. Push the clock button until the colon between the hours and minutes starts to flash. Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the time then push the clock button once again to make the colon symbol go solid.

Most models won't work when on Auto. Generally there are push buttons under the clock and one has a picture of a hand (Like a cop holding up his hand to say "Stop"). Press this button and it should go back to manual mode and allow you to use the oven.

What I have said so far is pretty much a guess, based upon experience. I'm also guessing that you don't have a manual to refer to either. However, while I can't find the specific manual for your model, there is a westinghouse oven manual here:

and I would bet that the clock setting instructions on page 18 are exactly the same for your appliance!

Hi You need to set your clock If it is a digital timer you usually have to press 2 of the buttons on the bottom and once you see a change in the clock (usually it stops flashing) press the up or down button to set the time once the time is set you may need to push the manual button sometimes this button is identified by a hand regards Geoff Stove Recyclers WA

you have 2 buttons one pops out for adjustment the other is only a push button push the left hand one repeatedly till a red clock symbol shows at top of clock then turn right hand knob to set time wait a few seconds and clock will set itself.

Cant fix the clock to work without the timer

if you are having trouble setting the clock times etc this is probably down to a worn bit generator this is the knob you turn to set the time they get dirty when using oven or grill and wont operate properly,the clock will need changing im afraid as there no way to open the clock without destroying it.

Just brought a bosch oven and there no life in the bottom oven

If it has a timer, then make sure it is set manual and not auto, or the oven will not work.
Try pressing 2 buttons at the left of timer and one button on right of timer to set it to manual, if it does not work this way, then try another combination of buttons.

if its flashing auto.
Press and hold the 2 buttons on the left hand - clock and cook time and then press the + button.
This then sets the time to allow manual and takes the auto off.
