Standard TV - text is blurry

The sharpening adjustment on the remote doesn't correct this. The blurriness is not that noticeable on image, but is definitely noticeable on small text such as football score squibs. This has deteriorated over time.

Thank you. Is this control something a novice can readily identify and safely adjust if careful?

Epson Projector S05 text is shodow

If the text on your Epson EB-S05 projector is appearing blurry or shadowed, there are several possible causes and solutions to consider:
  1. Check the focus: Make sure the projector is in focus by adjusting the focus ring. If the text still appears blurry, try adjusting the position of the projector or the screen.
  2. Check the resolution: If the input resolution of your projector does not match the native resolution of your display or screen, the text may appear blurry or shadowed. Check the resolution settings on both your projector and your device to make sure they match.
  3. Check the cables: If the cables connecting your projector to your device are old or damaged, they may cause interference or display issues. Try replacing the cables with new ones and see if that improves the text clarity.
  4. Check the lamp: If the lamp on your projector is old or damaged, it may cause the image to appear dim or blurry. Check the lamp hours and replace the lamp if necessary.
  5. Check the settings: Make sure that the brightness, contrast, and other settings on your projector are properly adjusted. Experiment with different settings to find the optimal image quality.
If none of these solutions work, it may be necessary to consult the Epson customer support or to take the projector to a professional technician for repair.

My picture is blurry, and words are blurry, what do i do

A blurry image on a high-definition LCD TV is typically the result of a mismatch between the TV's resolution capabilities and the resolution of the signal that is coming from connected devices, such as a DVD player or satellite TV receiver. Typically, blurry pictures result when a peripheral device connects to the TV through nonHD cables and jacks.

If your TV's connected devices do not have HD capability, they will transmit content to the TV in standard, analog signals. These types of signals are only capable of resolutions of up to 640 by 480 pixels. Pixels, for picture elements, are the tiny dots that make up the screen image. Most HD LCD TVs are capable of resolutions of as low as 1,366 by 768 pixels and as high as 1,920 by 1,080 pixels. When this big of a discrepancy occurs, the images display on the TV scaled, stretched and blurry.

I have a sony trinitron 36in tv, the screen works fine, colours are all great, no flickering or random shapes at all, its just a little blurry around edges, especially small text, its very blurry and...

it is very easy you just need a very small straight edge screwdriver

you should try to adjust sharpness setting with on screen adjustment first

if tv is too old tube might be going "soft" and sharp focus might not be able to be fully achieved anymore

good luck

The camera lens is blurry. Not clear focus.

1) Check if there is a ring on the lens that you can adjust to sharpen the focus, 2) try the tips in the article How To Improve Your Webcam Video Quality.

Watching a football game picture is very unclear

The noise reduction option will cause a blur on fast movement. Also, you probably already know this, but a standard definition broadcast will look very blurry on an HD TV, so make sure the channel you're watching is actually an HD channel.

Oh, wow, I just noticed that this is from October. Oh well, maybe you're still having problems.

Out of focus

How old is the set? If picture is really very blurry, Try adjusting 'focus'. You can find this conttrol generally at the rear of the set. Otherwise,. if you know solid state electronics, Check the Focus control on the FBT. It is also possible that the CTR Base is faulty. Replacing this helps.
