Recent Farberware FAC900R Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking ... How do i find a replacement for the timer control knob for the toaster oven K4245H?
Hi benbecula. I cannot find a repair manual for you. The normal way top dismantle a toaster is to remove the screws beneath the toaster. They are usually self tapping screws that hold the polished stainless steel cover to the base. The knobs on the front of the toaster have to be prised off so the cover comes off. Make sure the toaster is removed from the power before attempting and examination or repair.
Hope this helps,
Michael
Hello, Can you please post the full name and model number and serial number of the toaster you have a question on? You posted this question under Haden 10941 4-Slice Toaster and those numbers with a hayden brand do not match. I await your reply. Thank you Rick
your heating element has gone bad or there is some bad wiring in the oven itself
to check open up the toaster oven and look at the wires coming from the heating elements inside to the timer on the front panel if there is no bad wiring then the heating elements are bad and the toaster oven needs to be replaced
Hi there. I just repaired mine. The wire connected to left side (as you are looking at the front of the toaster) of the front top heating coil had come off. I replaced all four of the crimps going to each side of each of the top two heating coils as well as the wire going between the front and back coils on the left side. Make sure that you use HIGH TEMP crimps and HIGH TEMP wire. I had the crimps and purchased the wire from a ma and pa repair shop here in my town
u can check any appliance store, hardware if possible r variety store if they sell the nob for that particular brand, and take the broken piece you have left
