Question about Samsung SyncMaster 720N Monitor
Same problem as everyone else auto adjust screen keeps flashing in middle of screen. tech reps at samsung are in denial. My screen resolution is 1024x 768 Thanks Tomas
OK, I've figured it out! There's something wrong with the control chip,
so if you don't have it under warranty, here's what you can do:
1. Turn off the monitor
2. Unscrew the face of the monitor
3. Remove the bottom part of the face from the backside, so you can see the chip
(the control chip is located on the face of the monitor, under the buttons)
4. You will see a small white connector about 5mm wide, UNPLUGG it
5. Put the small cable that you've unconnected under the front, so you can close the monitor back
6. Close the monitor and plug it back in
That's it. You won't be able to change your settings (they autoadjust anyway), but you won't have to throw the monitor away!
