How set ringing tone and increase the volume in Uniden as7403, I cant find any manual online...

Do you need to adjust the ringer volume of the base, the handsets or both? To set the ringer volume of the base, start with the phone in standby mode (no calls being made or received) then press Menu 4 times (the right-hand button in the row above the volume up/down buttons). You should hear the current ring volume and see it displayed on the LCD screen. Press Set (the left-hand button in the row above the volume buttons). Press Skip/FF or Repeat/RR (the buttons on either side of the Play button below the LCD screen) until the desired ring volume level is displayed. Press Set to save the setting. Press Play/Stop to exit the menu system. See page 38 of the manual (page 40 of the PDF above) for the directions.

To adjust the handset ringer volume, press the handset volume up or down buttons with the phone in standby. The last chosen ringer tone and volume will be saved. See page 16 (page 18 of the PDF). Sometimes, the handset will not ring after losing the security code that pairs it to the base. Remove the handset from the base. Press and hold Page on the base (between Set and Menu). While the handset is sounding the paging tone, replace the handset in the base. Leave the handset in the base until the flashing stops (more than 5 seconds). See page 47 of the manual.

To increase the ring volume, press the up-arrow button.
You can also change the ring tone using the Ringer Tones option in the setup menu.

The EXI7960 has two ring tones and two volume settings available. With the handset in standby, press the Volume up button. (The volume up and down arrows let you switch both volume and ring tone. So you may have to press it a few times to adjust the volume.) The display should show the changes.

**Selecting the Ring Tone and Volume
Your phone has five different ringer tone/volume combinations you can choose from.
To select the ringer:
1) With the phone in standby, press [vol/ / ] or [vol/ / ].
2) The phone will sound the different ring tones at different volumes. To turn the ringer
off, select RINGER OFF.
3) When the phone sounds the ring tone and volume you wish to use, press [end].


**Temporarily Mute Ringer
If the handset is off the base while an incoming call is ringing, simply press [end] to mute
the incoming ring. The ringer will sound with the next incoming call.
Note: You can only mute the handset ringer if the handset is off the base when the phone starts
ringing.

Dear Sir . Currently your mobile ringing tone is set at low ringing volume level.Thats why you are facing this problem.To increase your ring tone sound follow these step : Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the available options: Select Ringing volume . Set Ringing volume to level 2 or above, your phone rings with the volume ascending from level 1 to the level for incoming calls. I hope this will works for you. Regards. Rizwan.

first of all u can increase volume during call by pressing right button (middle one). but i think ur phone is set to max and u dont hear much - in this case probably some "metal dust" sticks on your speakers membrane - open case clean speaker gently or replace with new one...

If it is like mine....push on one of the volume buttons (up or down,doesn't matter) and the phone will ring. WHILE IT RINGS, push the button again and it should scroll to the next ring option. Keep pushing WHILE it rings to scroll through the ring options.

Since you declined to specify the model of your Uniden DECT 6.0 phone I can only suggest you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual. The manual will describe how to change the ringer volume.

Without the exact model it is difficult to find the manual.
