Quickbooks Pro 2007- Not Responding

It's likely a problem with the PDF Converter provided by Intuit. Here are the instructions to fix the problem:

If that does not fix your problem, take a look at turning User Account Controls either ON or OFF -

From the Windows Start menu, choose Control Panel.
Double-click User Accounts, and then click Turn User Account Control on or off. Click Continue if asked for permission to continue.
Select the checkbox Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer and click OK. Close Control Panel.
Restart your computer

I have cakewalk music creator 2002 and sonar, they won't install on my new computer Vista 64bit. My question is, do i need to repurchase these products or is there a quick fix. Thank You. Jack

call cakewalk, their product might not be compatible with 64bit OS. They might offer a patch or workaround. And you could also try running as admin in compatibility mode.

You can download a pdf converter such as Advanced PDF to Word 5.(Source:http://www.advancedpdfconverter.com/products/pdftoword.html)
1. Select PDF files for Conversion
2. Specify output options
3. Specify output folder
4. Start conversion
It is very easy to use,i choose it because it is good in preserving the formatting.

I am using quickbooks premiere edition 2008 and when I try to do anything with adobe reader it fails. I really need to get reader working

Try uninstalling the Quickbooks PDF converter.

Open the printers folder:

In Windows XP: Double-click Printers and Faxes.
In Windows Vista: Under Hardware and Sound, click Printer.
Right-click the icon for the QuickBooks PDF Converter and choose Delete.

Open the printers folder:
In Windows XP: Double-click Printers and Faxes.

In Windows Vista: Under Hardware and Sound, click Printer.

Right-click the icon for the QuickBooks PDF Converter and choose Delete.

PDF will only convert a portion of the document: Only the top-right 1/4 of the page is converted and appears in the center of the pdf. I can't seem to find any settings that could help with this.........

What I do is use a free program called CutePDF. You can find it at www.cutepdf.com. Work really swell and will convert any doc or graphic to a pdf.

Unable to install software ''PDF Pro Converter 5.11''

Hello,
Most likely you are connected to a domain which is prohibiting you from installing new printer.
The problem with these kindda software like pdf Pro is that in order to convert files to pdf it creates a virtual printer and by printing to that printer you actually converting files.
Try loging in with an administrator account or try not to connect to the domain but to the local computer.

Have you tried to use HP SOlution Center when scanning and save the scanned document to .pdf? try this solution.

Note: HP Director and HP Solution Center has more likely the same settings

Is quick books 2003 Vista compatabile?

QuickBooks Pro 2003 can run on Windows Vista. Right-click a shortcut to open Quickbooks (or qbw32.exe directly) and click on Properties. Select the Compatibility tab. Under Compatibility Mode, check the box and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the list. Under privilege level, select "Run this program as an administrator." Select OK and everything will work.
