The main downside to it is that in order to get your voicemails and texts, youhave to have data enabled, so you wouldn't be able to use an app likeJuiceDefender. Personally, I've only had that problem once or twice (but I use Virgin Mobile,with Verizon it shouldn't be a problem at all), so it wasn't a huge deal. Youalways have regular texting if you really need it.
