I have Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6, SDCARD not frecognizing.

I have Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6, I was using it for sometime, and was working fine. But battery got exhausted sometime back. And I put it on shelf. Now I have reinstalled battery, it is not able to read the sd card, though I am able to read the sd card in other devices like on laptop. How to fix it.

The Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 will not read the 8 GB card
The Z6 uses MMC and SD cards. If you look carefully at your 8GB card, you'll see that it's an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. The Z6 is limited to cards 2GB and smaller.

The Z6 works with MMC and SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into SD slots, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use MMC or SD cards, 2GB and smaller.
