Hopoint ff200e fridge freezer is not freezing and fridge not cold. power to it as lights for super frost and super cool are flashing

You will need to unplug and defrost the fridge for a few hours then replug the power. Leaving the doors open allows moisture to freeze on the evaporator while compressor continues to run confusing the control board

Hi.. feel the dividing rdge between fridge and freezer.. is it warm?.. chances are that the little fan at the back of the fridge freezer that helps cool the compressor, has snagged own it's own wire... it's a weak fan, like you get in a computer, but it does a lot of work.. without it, the coolent does not do it's job, which results in your device not cooling things properly

check the damper door vent between the freezer/refrigerator compartments and make sure this door is opening and closing as you adjust the cold control in the refrige section,it may have a diverter cover on it but you should feel cold air flow in this area even if its only open part way,then remove this cover and check that its not iced up if so use a hair dryer carefully and deice it,then try the control and see if it opens and closes as you adjust the cold control in the refrige

I turned the fridge and freezer off using the circular dials, I then turned the unit off at the mains. Left it for a few minutes and then turned the power back on. I then turned the circular dials to "max" and then depressed the super cool and super freeze buttons to turn this facility on. This time they came on normally (not flashing) and no alarm sounded. The fridge and freezer then started to get cold. Once the unit had been running for several hours I then turned the dials to the 3/4 mark and depressed the super cool and super freeze buttons again to turn them off. Over night the fridge and the freezer appear to be working properly so I hope that my problem is solved. Maybe the unit just needed to "settle" before being switched on?

Make sure fridge OFF freezer OFF ... then turn mains on. ONLY turn freezer to max, after 30mins put fridge to 1care ... this should overcome the problem of the flashing lights. When both nice and cool turn settings down. it worked for me

This is probably because you turned off the fridge at the mains (to defrost??). To stop the flashing lights and to restore normal operation, turn both the Supercool and Superfreeze knobs counterclockwise to "off" and then back to the operating position. Thats all!
