Pending codes and current codes are basically the same. Pending codes are for a problem that is still indicated to be a problem,but hasn't been cleared. Current codes are codes that are indicated for the current drive cycle. Usually will both be the same code if problem still exists and hasn't been cleared without repair.

Are you asking how to reset the computer or how to clear an error code/check engine light? Clearing a check engine light (which will also clear the error code) can be done with a code scanner. These are usually available for use at little or no cost at any larger auto parts store (they may even connect the scanner for you and record/clear the code). One word of caution, however: if you clear the code but don't repair the cause, the code and light will return after a brief amount of time. Now as for resetting the computer itself, not recommended that you try since error codes are stored in non-volatile memory. Disconnecting the battery's positive terminal for an hour or so may clear the check engine light, but, again, it will reappear and regenerate the error code unless the cause is fixed. Good luck.

A lot of times a code can be cleared by simply disconnecting the negative battery cable for about ten minutes then reconnecting. If the code goes away then comes back later you probably have a defective component or sensor. If the code doesnt go away you definitely have a bad component. A dealer might tell you what the code means. If you buy a Haynes or other after market service manual it may show the code and the repair.

You have the option of using Master Reset or Master Clear to reset settings, and remove information.
Master Reset resets all settings on device to factory default.
Master Clear resets all settings to factory default, plus clears all data from the device including: PIM data, Call History, Settings, etc.
To perform a Master Reset or Master Clear:

1. Press Start.
   
2. Scroll to and select System Tools.
3. Scroll to and select either Master Reset or Master Clear.
4. Press Yes when Alert appears.
5. Enter Master Code (normally 000000).

Clearing a trouble code on a AR-M160 is a little different than the AR160.

This should clear the error. Even if you replace the fusion unit you will need this code to clear the error
