You could request password recovery assistance by calling Toshiba with this phone number: 1 (800) 457-7777 . Also, please check if you've written the password down anywhere like in an email message. Thank you.
I thought the same when this happened to me. Couldn't find it anywhere, but actually it was written down on one of the car documents. Have another look - it should just be 4 digits
hello chucke, If you cannot remember the password the only way to get access to your router is to reset it, press the reset button on the back of the router in for 20-30 seconds, or until all of the lights flash. This does a factory reset on your router. the ip address is 192.168.0.1, username is admin, or administrator. Leave the password field blank. Hope this was helpful, good luck
Hi,
You say it's been quite a while since you used the account, do you have your old credit card details written down anywhere or stored on any other sites?
Or is your bank account number stored on Paypal..?
You could also use the bank account to recover a password...
The only other option is registering your new credit card with a new account..
do down to the internet icon bottom right of you screen
click on it to open it
then open network and sharing
delete the wireless network that you was using
now wait a few seconds and windows should tell you wireless networks available
then click on the network icon again to open it find the name of your router
click on it then go down to click connect
and if you have set a password on the router you will need to enter that password
if you did nt the password may be the one written on the base of the router
or if none at all is set then hopefully it will connect for you
hope this has helped you
please let us know if this has helped you so that we may be able to help others
many thanks
Unfortunatly there is no way of recovering the password however you could always reset your router to default settings to do that there is a reset button in the back of the router. Here is a link to show you how to resecure the router.
reset the router buy holding the rest button down for 10 seconds once all the lights start to blink leave it for 20 seconds or more so the lights get stable and then use the default user id admin and password admin Don t forget to say thanks admin
kindly search for the drivers in http://download.com and i am also providing the link for it to get generic drivers that will work irrespective of make amd model of your cam LINK TO DOWNLOAD
Are we talking about the user name and password just to get into the router? Like the default is admin and the password is just left blank? I don't think there is a limit but you don't have to go really crazy here. Once you change it from the default make sure you write it down and keep it someplace you won't lose it. You have to type it in just the way you put it in when you changed it like: PaSSwoRd . Exactly the same. If you think you maybe might not have it exactly or don't have it written down ( not likely since it's so long), the only thing you can do is reset the router to factory defaults. Just press and hold the reset button for ten seconds. Make sure you don't unplug it during this time. I've included a link for the manual in case you don't have yours. http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/downloadPage.jsp?doc=0f975a7bfbf50f024ffa58aa4341716c&q=ActionTec+GT704-WG If this helped you fix your problem please rate. If the problem is with a different password just add a comment and I'll be glad to help. Thanks.
