if you played with some settings on your phone......and this is the results,easyest way to fix is to download "PC Companion" from sony website[freeprogram] and in the "update" pane do a "repair" or firmware repair.Save your contacts and any pictures,music before as this will repair your phone and probably not reconize your stuff=things you installed.Anyways phone will be back to the way you bought it and working 100%

you should remove it completely from SIM CARD MEMORY AS WELL AS PHONE MEMORY IN CONTACTS. when you store the same name with a different number sometimes it chooses to send it from the phone memory so it goes back to the same old number. and not the new one which you stored with the same name on your sim card memory. hope this helps. cheers.

This not the solution to my problem as I have no problem receiving messages, it is in the typing of the text messages. I have to gage where I hit each letter as I cannot get the results I want by hitting the letter straight on. Please address this problem.

I have this all the time: 1. Inbox/ sent msgs are 2 full - so delete msgs 2. remove the battery out & clean sim card 3. If that doesnt work get a new simcard 4. if else fails- get a new phone

take it to a store to have the version of hte phone updated...

So do I,hehehee... well,now tray to do formatt.here is the way : First,back up your phone contact (It will be loose) ,switch off your phone, press and hold * button, 3 button, green or call button than press and hold power on button.wait for a while till show Nokia logo than twingkling.now you may release your fingers.if it work your screen will show name of Country City where you were.Do again the process if not show name of City.Good luck..

I also have a LG phone (LG Shine ((LG CU720)) ) Did you make sure there is no limit to how many letters you can have in a text, i see "# of letters in text"/160 on the top when im texting, when it gets over that limit, it sends it as more than one text message. I hope that helps, and if it doesn't, get a new phone provider (they're screwing you over)

Try holding the power button for 5 seconds and wait for phone to respond. If that doenst help, try removing the battery and putting it back in to reset the phone. If still no luck, go to a cell phone store and ask them to check it with a new battery. If it fixes it you just need a new battery, if not, then at least you know its a phone problem and not the battery. Sometimes a bad battery can cause some strange problems.

Do you have too many text messages stored on your phone? I had a phone like that, If when I neared the storage limit it would stop allowing any entering of text messages. Just go to the menu button when your in the text message area and press the menu key, scroll down to cleanup messages, select it and delete them all.
