I have a Vauxhall mariva 2008 and when I brake vibrate in pedal then abs light comes on and stays on and vibrate stops only happens when first start

try this --when you start the car fist keep your foot on the brake pedal keep it on then turn the key on --if no warning lights its your brake light switch

The light being on means the system has detected a problem in one or more sensors. The vibration is the ABS modulating the brakes to prevent skidding because it has detected a wheel that is locked up. That wheel is most likely the one sensor that is giving you the error.

you don't say where the noise is. that is important to give a clue where the issue is. when stopping on the brakes 3 things happen. you press the pedal and the abs pump starts pumping fluid. the second is the brake capilers start pushing on the rotors to slow the car. the rotors are attached to the wheels and that stops the car. so if the rotors are warped you will feel a vibration in the steering wheel when stepping on the brakes. if its your foot feeling the pump working that is normal for abs pumping. you should feel it and holding the pedal will keep it working and stop you from skidding if everything is working correctly

It can be issue with master cylinder or the problem is there is still some air there in the system,that has to be bleed.Or else the parts replaced are not aligned properly/.I suggest everything back.

This may be a silly response but are you sure it is not your ABS? This is the Anti-lock Braking System that prevents your tires from locking up when you slam on your brakes during an emergency. This helps prevent you from losing control of your vehicle. If any of your tires lock up your ABS will kick in and you will know this when your brake pedal starts to more or less vibrate. Sometimes when this happens your ABS light will come on your dash during the time your ABS is in use. This is a normal response and will happen more frequently when on icy, wet, or unpaved and muddy roads.

SOUND LIKE PROBLEM IN THE ABS BRAKE SYSTEM AND TRAC SYSTEM.TAKE VECHICLE TO DEALERSHIP.THEY HAVE TO USE A TECH SCANNER TO TROUBLE SHOOT AND FIX PROBLEM.

How hard are you stepping on the brake pedal? What you are describing sounds like the ABS system activating. When you step on the pedal hard enough to engage the ABS the light will come on, in some cars it will blink. You will also feel the thumping/vibration in the pedal since the system works by repeatedly engaging and disengaging the brakes. If it is happening when you step lightly on the brakes then you may have a bad wheel speed sensor or possibly a bad or miss-adjusted brake switch.

I have been through a similar experience. I will tell you what happen and how it was solved.
the ABS on my car would activate any time it want to. So I take to the shop they test it, no codes display. This happen again so I call the mechanic and talk to him and he said he want to try some thing else. He hook up his computer and we went for a drive the brakes did the same thing but he said that the computer detect one wheel sensor is going off and on again. He said that it is not staying off long enough for the light to come on and stay on.
He change the wheel sensor and the problem went away. In my case the problem was to find out which sensor activate the ABS.
The sensors is what tell the ABS to activates.

car is sensing a problem with the stability control system (DSC) or the antilock brake system (ABS). usually an ABS problem will turn off the DSC, so DSC may be ok, just ABS needs a look at.

since its an '08 model, it should still be covered by the BMW warranty provided you live in the USA. take it in and have them fix it. not safe driving with both systems deactivated.
