You dont need to uninstall. you can just download a different browser, such as.

SOURCE: poor picture quality in the web browser

Is it only web browsers?

What are your screen settings on? In display Properties under 'Settings' 16-bit, 32-bit, or something else?

SOURCE: i didn't like google chrome

I've never used Google Chrome but believe if you uninstall Yahoo Messenger. Then re-download and reinstall it(Yahoo Messenger) that it should remedy your problem since Google Chrome is now removed.

SOURCE: After Chrome uninstall Web page icons gone

I fully agree and sympathize with you.

I faced a similar problem and here is the solution for it.

First uninstall Google Chrome (From what you have written; you have already uninstalled it).

Go to "Set Default Programs" (Control Panel>Default Programs>Set Default Programs)

Select Internet Explorer and click Set this program as default

Select Microsoft Office Outlook and click Set this program as default

Run Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and browse to location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Ext and change the value data of all DWORD entries from 1 to 0.

Launch Internet Explorer first; launch your Mail client (hopefully Microsoft Officer Outlook).

Check if all is well and you are now able to open links from within your Mail client.

If all is well now, you may change your Default Program settings to Firefox.

P.S. Just remember to say thanks :) and you can always change the Firefox icons, you do know how?

I assume you are using Windows?
If so, go into your start menu. Go to the control panel. Go to uninstall software. Now a list of programs will pop up. Select google chrome and choose to uniinstall it. This will not effect your files. Your bookmarks will reload when you reinstall google chrome and log back in to your google account.
After uninstalling google chrome, go to google.com/chrome and redownload and reinstall chrome.
This should fix any issues you are having with google chrome.

Cant get on the internet when i click on google chrome icon I get "web page not avaiable"

Try using other browsers like IE or Mozilla Firefox and check if you can browse the Internet. If yes, uninstall and reinstall Google Chrome. If you can't access Internet via IE and Mozilla Firefox as well, chances are you don't have Internet connection. Contact your ISP if that's the case.
