How many cups are in a pound of cenfectioners sugar. I need this for a recipe

Powdered sugar right out of the box or the plastic bag weighs 4 1/2 ounces per cup, so a 1-pound box (or 16 ounces) contains about 3 1/2 cups of powdered sugar. If a recipe calls for sifted powdered sugar, weigh out 4 ounces of sifted powdered sugar to equal 1 dry measuring cup.

Can you use powder sugar when you are out of gran. sugar.

Not really... Powder sugar has added cornstarch that is normally used as a thickener and will thicken if heated. It is an okay substitute for dusting cookies, donuts and things like that, but other than that *I* don't recommend using it as a substitute.

What is the proportion of table sugar to dextrose to equal same amount of sweetness?

I actually would do this by testing and tasting. Not hard to do with a couple glasses of water. Mix in one tsp of sugar in one glass and in the other keep adding the substitute until it tastes the same or close. That will give you your ratio.

Do you have any recipe for milk free ice cream? For lactose intollerant diet?? Perhaps Almond Milk or Soy Milk.

Here are some of the useful steps to make a milk free ice cream.
1.) Microwave the chocolate and butter-substitute for thirty seconds in a microwave-safe bowl.
2.) Add a dash of salt, and a splash of vanilla extract to taste.
3.) Put a scoop of marshmallow fluff into the bowl and stir it in thoroughly.
4.) Remove the spoon, lick it clean, and wait up to 5 minutes for your mixture to become room temperature.
5.) Place it in the freezer for 50 minutes, remove, and if it is still not frozen well, then stir it thoroughly and place it back in the freezer for another 20 minutes.
