I watch Netflix via wii. While watching a show the screen goes black. ????

There are multiple ways to watch Netflix:
- Watch on your laptop or tablet.
- Connect a laptop to your TV. Cost you only a cable.
- SmartTV with Netflix app. Most brands have that nowadays.
- Chromecast: if you have an Android phone/tablet you can send the screen to your TV.
For iPhone / iPad you will need AppleTV, but that costs a lot more.
- TV with an Andriod mediabox with the Netflix app installed. ROKU for instance.
- Via a Game console: Playstations / XBOX / Wii can install the Netflix app.

Further needed:
- internet connection.
- Netflix account. It is possible to use 1 account on 4 devices. My son has several friends who together pay the Netflix subscription fee.
The most expensive plan allows for up to 4 screens watching different programs.

I often have this problem when using the A/V cord. Can the Wii use HDMI? Your sound would be fixed.

You need to re-download it through the Wii Shop Channel. Go to the Wii Shop Channel from your home screen with all the channels on it (it has a shopping cart icon probably). Click on "Start Shopping", then "Wii Channels", then scroll up or down until you can find Netflix, click it. Download it to your wii. When it's done, it will show up on the home screen, and you can log into your netflix account.

It doesn't have a dvd drive so you cant watch it through the wii, however what you can do is get the wii web browser opera, This will let you watch youtube videos, hulu, or you can get netflix and watch hundreds of videos online through your web browser. I believe there is also just a netflix app. But you cannot watch dvds.

Sorry to hear your having problems with your wii. You can connect the wii via wifi or wired with an adapter. Check out Nintendo's tutorial for instructions on how to do this:

You basically goto:
Wii Options at the bottom left corner of your home screen, then Wii Settings, Click the right arrow to goto the next page, Click Internet, Click Connection Settings, Click Connection 1, Click Wireless Connection. Click Search for an Access Point. Click OK to view the found access points. Select the Access point for your wireless internet, enter your encryption key, click Ok and then OK again to save settings, and then OK again to test the connection.
Once you have set up your wifi connection you can download the netflix channel from the wii shop channel for free. Then you can follow the on screen instruction when you launch the netflix channel to watch netflix on your wii.

You go to Netflix via your PC and sign into your account and go to how to watch on your TV and select consoles and then select your console which in your case is the Wii and then the Netflix website will give you the code to enter into your Wii. Good Luck!

In the receiver's main menu or setup on the remote you will find "input/output assign", make sure the "HDMI Monitor" is set to "yes".
This will make sure whatever video source is connected will be upconverted and outputted to the HDMI going to your TV. If it is set to "no" it will not show your Wii.
