Logs of about six feet (2metres) in length used as obstructions to direct golfer traffic. Should they be treated as loose impediments (if loose) or Obstructions?

These logs have not been cut to size. They we're simply felled in this size. They also have not been transformed in any way. Two or three may be laid together. Decision 23/1 is relevant but not directly on point. Decision 24/7 is also relevant.

SOURCE: Using logs

Here something that would help you:

log x base y = log x / log y
log (x*y) = log x + log y
log (x/y) = log x - log y

so log 24 base 2 it's log 24 / log 2 etc.
and if i get right what you wrote x= 10 ^ ( 3 * (log 5) ) if no inverse it it's easy really Hope it's helped you.

SOURCE: DSL connection not being shared by Linksys RV042 Dual Wan router

Looks like your "modem" is actually a gateway, as is common with DSL devices. It's acting like a modem and a router. So you're actually connecting a router to your RV42. You could get this to work a couple ways.
1. Leave the modem acting like a router and configure the WAN connection on the RV42 as a static IP, and use the IP of the modem. You may also be able to use "obtain IP automatically" in the WAN connection. This way, the modem stores your PPOE information and just forwards the traffic to the RV42. Any devices behind the RV42 won't know the difference.
2. Configure the modem as just a modem (no routing). Your ISP should be able to talk you through this, but in the modem configuration you can look for what's usually called "bridged mode." Then you would enter the PPOE information in the RV42. This is my preferred method.

SOURCE: I purchase a lowrance LMS-520C about 18 months

If your problem happens mostly in weedy area's, you should try downloading the latest version of software from the lowrance site. It's Ver 2.5.0. You also need to change your fishing mode to "shallow water". I experienced the problem as described on the site, and the download fixed it.

Hope this helps you.

How many feet is 350 linear feet?

Linear feet are a measure of length (no different from feet); square feet measure area. You cannot simply convert between measures of different kinds of quantities;the connection between them will be specific to a particular problem.A practical example in which this question can arise is in buying countertops for a kitchen. Some materials are sold by the square foot; others (basically those that are extruded, so they come in standard widths) are sold by the linear foot. In order to compare the two, you need to compute the area and wall length for the countertop you want. You can't convert between the two. All you have to do is to make the appropriate measurements so you can calculate the price of each item. The terms used in the lumber industry are a bit confusing. There are two terms that I think you might be mixing up.A LINEAR FOOT is simply the length of a board. If you want to know the area or volume of the board, you need additional information. For instance, 6 linear feet of 1-by-12 has an area of 6 square feet (12 inches = 1 foot, times 6 feet), and it's 1 inch thick, so the volume is 1/2 cubic foot (6 square feet times 1/12 foot). But 6 linear feet of a 1-by-6 board would have half the area and half the volume.A BOARD FOOT is equivalent to one square foot of a 1-inch-thick board. In other words, it is a square-foot-inch (ft^2-in), or 1/12 cubic foot.Linear feet are used for the pricing of a single size such as two-by-fours. Board feet are used for larger lumber that you are more likely to want to compare directly with different size boards .To sum up, neither a linear foot nor a board foot can be converted directly to square feet. A linear foot is a linear (length) measure, and a board foot is a volume measure. You need to know your particular board to do anything more, such as find the area.an example with an" L" shaped countertop will betwo rectangles are 24 by 80 inches and 24 by 36 inches. Thus the area is: 24 * 80 + 24 * 36 = 24 * (80 + 36) = 24 * 116= 2784 sq. in.To get it in square feet, divide by 144:
2784 / 144 = 19.33 sq. ft.The linear measure of this countertop would be 60 + 80 = 140 inches = 140/12 feet = 11.67 feet

Astrostart My vehicle only starts when I am about 50 feet away,,not even

Check the battery in your remote, it may be getting weak.
Also AUTOSTART claims that the 1000FT is based on line of sight, unobstructed testing in ideal conditions. Actual range will vary due to local conditions including but not limited to environment, terrain, physical obstructions, vehicle location and orientation, interference and other possible impediments.
Try driving out to a place that is flat and open in all directions. Walk up to 1000 feet away, and try every 100ft as you walk back to see when it will start.
If you have a building, wall, or other object between your remote and the vehicle the signal may not be reaching the antenna on the vehicle.

If the usb cable did not come with my printer where would i be able to purchase it and about how much do they run for?

Hello, are you in the US ? if yes, then try any decent large supermarket.
If you're in UK then Asda or Tesco sell them for about £5.-depends on length you need. They start at around 1.5 metres, then 1.8metres, 2metres (sometimes) and 3metres.
For a printer you usually need a A to B type cable.

Just purchased the above dryer. There is NO Power in the machine. Have checked the electrical cords and power right to the machine than nothing.

  • Measure the amount of distance between your dryer and your venting exit point. This is how many feet of duct to buy. Note how many turns the duct will need to make, and purchase that number of 90-degree fittings. Remember that your venting exit point must be at least 1 foot above ground level, and that your path shouldn't be longer than 25 feet, with 5 feet subtracted for every 90-degree turn.
  • Drill a hole through the wall in the area you'll install the vent. This step is to test for obstructions. Look for the hole outside, and check for obstructions there, too.
  • Bore a 4¼-inch diameter hole into your designated and tested venting exit point, using your bi-metal hole saw on your drill. Start the hole outside of the house. Brace the drill against your leg to help keep it steady, and pull it out frequently to avoid overheating the tool.
  • Install your vent's cap by screwing it over the hole you just drilled. Caulk around any gaps.
  • Cut away excess length from a straight section of duct using your tin snips. Construct the entire length of your duct by snapping the seams together. Start at the dryer. Attach one end of your duct work to your dryer's exhaust point, which is at the back of the dryer. The pieces should fit together snugly.
  • cover the seams between your 90-degree fittings and your straight lengths with metal foil tape. Connect the last piece of metal duct to the cap you installed earlier. Every 5 feet, attach the metal duct work to the wall using metal pipe straps and screws.
  • Plug in your dryer and turn it on to test your work.

How to build a wooden pyramid frame for school children, 2metres on each length of base.

cut 4 pieces of 2x2 to1.5 inches short of 2 metres. lay them out end to end to form a two metre box. it can only work one way. then take string from corner to corner to find the center, making a crosshair. then stand a level rod at the centre to the desired height and fasten equal length lines from each corner to the peak. using a compound mitre saw, place an angle finder at the bottom and top corners to give you the angle to cut your piece with the saw set at 45 degrees, to give you your compound miter for the top. just set the saw blade to line up with the angle finder to get the bottom cut. the length of your "tight" string line frome corner to peak is your length of "hip" piece

How do I remove the upper housing assembly to clean out the toaster? I have a KitchenAid model KTT340OB

In the event that you DO need to take it apart, my KTT570 had two of the six screws hidden by rubber feet on the bottom of the toaster. Remove the feet by carefully prying them out with a very small straight-slot screw driver. They are essentially just rubber plugs about 3/4 of an inch in length. They are located on the end from which the crumb-tray is extracted. There are ONLY six screws so don't remove the rubber feet on the opposite end. You will need to remove the darkness knob and the handle from the end of the toast-lowering mechanism prior to removing the cover.
