Recording vs880ex - can't hear the headphones in stereo

The signal is definitely being recorded in stereo - it plays back stereo on speakers. However, it is mono in headphones - when it is in record mode or playback mode. Panning signal does not change this at all. I restarted the machine too. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I have a CD Stereo system SA-AK17, 120V, 145W, without speaker. I provided 2 speaker with the brand of Technics, input 200W(.music), 100W(DIN) each speaker. I bought Audio wire and connect speakers...

Some stereo system have the ability to switch off the speakers when playing via headphones. In others the headphone socket itself does the switching. However headphone sockets can become faulty and when the headphone plug is removed it doesn't restore sound to the speakers. It's very easy to fix this, with a check that the contacts are not bent out of place. Or you can rewire a new headphone socket, making a note of the wire connections before you replace it.
Sometimes it is quite difficult to get the speaker cable to make a good contact with the speaker sockets. You should check that they are making contact.
To test any loudspeaker just connect a 1.5 battery for a short time across the disconnected speaker. If working the speaker will pop!
As the sound is going to the headphones the amp seems to be OK and one of the above options should correct the problem.

Dp02 recording music(from stero)

Sounds like you are using the DP-02's 'stereo mix' inputs here. If so, the signal input from those is only routed to the line out and headphone jacks and cannot be recorded using the DP-02.

To record from a stereo you need to take the left and right aux outs (or some other line out - like the tape outs) from the stereo and put them into the main A and B mic/line inputs on far right of the DP-02's back panel. Then assign them to two respective tracks and you can record the stereo output to the DP-02. Just make sure you use a line level output from the stereo as the amplified speaker output can overpower and damage the inputs on the DP-02. You might need a couple of rca to 1/4 inch adapters to accomplish this.

Hope this helps.

Quiet Noisey feedback out of speakers

The speakers are not hooked up correctly. I don't know if you still have the instructions but it is a hardware problem and not software. Try to figure out how to hook them up correctly.

Sound in one ear only

The Fastrack only has one audio input signal to the PC. You'll need to set your recording software to mono, then you can add stereo fx in your audio software.

No Real Time Sound from USB Port in Headphones

The problem is due to the design of the DELL Laptop itself. It is not dsigned to monitor the incoming signal. I bought a cheap Behringer UCA202 USB-Audio Interface. It provides for real time monitoring the incoming sound. I can also hear the accompanying music while I play along with pre-existing tracks. It's not the highest quality but it was only 25$ so well worth the price.
