SOURCE: my tablet is not powering on..it is getting charge

Two most probable problems:
-bad battery
-bad motherboard

If it's still under warranty, get it repaired.
If not, buy a new one

7" Tablet. How do I hard reset my tablet ?

Start with the tablet fully powered off (not just in standby). To force the tablet to a fully off state, hold the power button pressed for until it powers down. This can take 10 to 20 seconds.

Hold the volume up button pressed (some devices may use the volume down button), and then press and hold the power button, until a small menu appears. Release the power button and then the volume button.

Use the volume up/down buttons to select the required menu entry, and then tap the power button to action the selection.

I forgot my password to my Chromo Tablet & I need to know how to reset the password.

Check to see if there is a Reset button on your tablet. Usually it will be next to Power or Volume buttons. Use a small Pin to insert, press, and HOLD it for 15 seconds. Your tablet should reboot. See if it will reset your tablet and let you log into your tablet.

If that does not work, press and hold Power button until your tablet turns off completely. Press and hold Volume Down + Power at the same time for 15-20 seconds. See if the Recovery menu will comes up.

If still not working, power off again. Press and hold Volume Up + Power buttons for 15-20 seconds.

Nexus 7 won't turn on

Pop the back off, unplug the battery for about 30 seconds, plug the battery back in, put the back cover back on. You will find it will start no problem.

My visual land vl 109 won't factory reset

here you go >>
The instructions are as follows:
1. Turn off the tablet fully and make sure you have some charge in it (at least 20%).
2. Hold down the volume up and power button for about 12-15 seconds until the first android logo comes up. When this happens, relase both buttons.
3. Now you're presented with an android face up and a red triangle. This next step varies with the OS version the tablet currenly carries. For 4.0.4 users, hitting the volume up button 5 times followed by the volume down once brings you to the revoery menu. For 4.1 users, once you're at this screen, you will need to restart the tablet by holding down to power button for a few seconds and letting go as soon as you see the screen go blank. Personally, this did the trick for the reset because pressing combinations of keys did not work. 4. once you're in the recovery menu, use the volume down button to scroll wipe data/factory reset and press the power button to select.
5. Confirm by selecting "yes-delete all user data" on the next screen and pressing the power button.
6. Once you receive the message "data wipe complete" you can now select "reboot system now." Your tablet will now restart and guide you through the setup as if it were the first time being used.

My samsung galaxy tablet won't turn on. Please help.

  • my tablet did the same thing, all you have to do is make sure it is fully off, then you hold the power button for a short period of time, then you hold the volume button at the same time either up or down, (depending on which tablet you have) and wait until the android logo comes up. Then there are options, you are to choose ''wipe data factory reset button'' (you choose your options using the volume up/down button) wait maybe 30 seconds and then more options come up you choose ''reboot'' wait another 30 seconds, then turn it on it should work but if it doesn't work, take it back (if you still have the warrantee) and you could get a new one or the professional's fix it anyway hope this helps everyone. ;)
