or if you are talking about the red rose, one way to get it is that you have to go for a walk and try to find it. It is all about luck. If you have a friend who has the red rose if you go in bark mode your friend can wrap it up as a present and give it to you. But some say that you will find it in gifted box (if you have enough trainer points). And here is other way, If you have a lucky collar and/or a lucky clock, use all of them, take your dog on lots of walks, and hopefully you'll get it soon.

If you have animal crossing wild world you go to the town gate and ask copper to go out, when the other guy (In real life) is in his town click on the DS to DS option, then you should be able to go to his/her town
