As for the value of your machine, there's no way to tell. Appraisals of antiques requires hand-on evaluation, and an appraisal of an antique dealer would be of its value purely as an antique. Sewing machines were really mass-produced and the old ones are solid and sturdy--all metal. They were built to last forever with minimal maintenance and that done by the user. So far, they have an excellent track record of lasting forever, so a good many of them are still around. They aren't rare.
The old machines can be cleaned up and restored. The leather belt on the treadle can be replaced and the machine can enjoy many more years of service. Check out
