The problem you have mentioned is called OVP(Over voltage) fault. This type of fault is usually associated with the power supply board or main audio video board. There are several components that can cause this problem, but most commonly faulty resistors, voltage regulator and capacitors. These components have to be tested to determine the source of the fault and a component level repair has to be performed/ the board needs to be swapped. Would you like to do it yourself?

If it is a cable...There are many(from 7-11)driver ribbon cable with horizontal driver chips mounted on them!!!! So if problem didn´t go away after fixing all cables...your plasma has died.

The power supply needs repaired NOW. I suggest you do not play it---unplug it ---and take it in for service. If you continue to play it you will price yourself into a new tv.

The main power supply regulator board to your TV should be troubleshooted. In most cases, it might need card base replacement.
