Question about Seiki Televison & Video
Firstly you need to check if the sky remote is rev10 or later. Anything less will not work.
The code is 2992 or 3992.
My remote is rev10 and code 2992 worked.

I have a seiki tv model number SE32HY01UK.. Today I had sky installed, sky man told me he has no code for this tv. Although after a few attempts of random codes an numbers I found this code 2992 I believe it maybe a samsung code but it works with new sky+hd and seiki tv... Hope this helps for some people.. sometimes it's just worth tryin a few upto date tv model numbers.. Louise

I tried the closest model no. in the Sky list in the system setup, I think the code was 0840. Cover the front of the remote and press TV, then press red & select button until the remote led light blinks twice, key in the code 0840 and then press select. Try the volume button and this should work. If you get stuck go into interactive and system setup and select setup of sky remote and it gives you a list of makes and models, this is the closed one to the LE40A656 and works with mine.

Press tv on the Sky remote
press and hold select and red until the led blinks twice
type in 0 0 6 0
press the power button, if the tv turns off then the press select and the remote should work all the tv functions.
If the tv does not turn off then press tv then the power button and keep doing this until the tv turns off, once it turns off press select and it should work.

To use sky+ remote control with LG 42LH3000 you must have a rev ver8 remote controller.
The codes are stored in a database of the Sky remote. If the old codes don't work
you may need to buy the latest Sky remote. Otherwise it is a matter of waiting for the
new Sky remote which may have the updated codes.
