Okay, so my TV, which I have owned for over a year has started encountering problems today! (It has not been damaged in any way). Basically, I turn on the TV and the green power light comes on but the screen does not, then the light turns off again, but comes back on, then off, then on, then off, etc. etc. Well, the green light comes on for 3 seconds, then immediately is followed by just turning off for about a second or two. Also, when it turns off, there is a little click noise you can hear from the back (like it triggers an emergency shut-off, to protect itself, like circuit breakers do).
Any help would be appreciated and any clarification in any way will be supplied, thank you!

You have a bad LCD panel. Hopefully it is under warranty still as they are expensive.

Replace the BU Mount pcb. Sometimes they are called the FB pcb.

You got a overheating problem with this TV. . That red light means alot and 9 times is not a charm. it either overheated or is about to.

Try leaving the TV unpugged for 30 minutes so the TV can reset itself.
If that doesn't work, most likely the TV has a power supply related problem. The most common thing to go out is the circuit board that supply power to the screen. Commonly called a Backlight Inverter Board.
I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet.
If by chance the TV is still under warranty, go that route.
If not under warranty and If you have some electronic experience, you can purchase a Service Manual over the internet and diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part. The Service Manual will give you flashing red light codes, circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists. Usually, cost under $20.
