I want to buy the Texas lakes for this unit , I bought the gulf of Mexico map thinking it would have the Texas lakes I now know it only has the gulf of Mexico my mistake.

try mapquest for usa ,and then for mexico ,use the 35 to texas and then the 85 to mexico .good luck

MapCreate Topo does not have lake maps. There are 'some' maps on Lowrance's web site (Free Enhanced Lake Maps) but you may need to purchase lake maps on SD cards for the area you're interested in.
