Why does the display keep changing to 20%? It shows the true humidity level then changes to 20% every 2minutes.

Both water bottles are full and the unit is clean and the filters are fine and the humidistat is not blocked. When put on auto at 25% the unit goes on and off all day every two mins. Raised it to 30% and it stays on constantly but the display still keeps showing 20% every two minutes versus the true humidity level in the room (any number higher than 20%).

This morning, my Frigidaire FFHS2322MS refrigerator had a pond of water in front, the compressor was clearly off and the lights inside were on. No error code of the displays, they were just bla

Have a technician test the start capacitor on the compressor. When they go bad the motor will draw excessive current which trips the thermal overload switch on the compressor. It usually resets itself once the compressor case has cooled down.

Ep9r 500 speed button won't work keeps flashing f

The water level sensor fell into the fan. Unplug the humidifier from the wall, stick your hand in between the fan blade and locate the sensor. It is a small black rectangular piece the size of a nickel but rectangular and 3 nickels thick. It also has a 2 inch stem sticking out of that clicks back and forth when you push it. Stick the sensor back into the sensor whole and the flashing f will go away and the humidifier will come on again.

Is rainmate good for sinus problems

If you are having issues associated with dry sinus, and it is cold where you are located (with heating unit running), then yes, a humidifier will increase the relative humidity of the air and possibly decrease the issues you have with dry sinus, regardless of manufacturer.
You need to look for a humidifier that provides for a decent humidification rate, in terms of gallons per hour. The higher, the better. And, with that, you want a decent water tank storage amount, or you will be refilling all the time (the smaller the tank, the more often you have to refill.).
Also look for a humidity control, but don't pay a lot for it. The more humid the air, the harder it is for more water to evaporate into it. You would really like around 50%-60% RH in your home.

I have the Renewaire Energy Recovery ventilator system, Model EV130, installed in my house but do not know how to set it to the proper setting. The runtime numbers go from 10 to 100 and I am not sure what...

The RenewAire system is sized per ASHRAE 62-1999, residential air exchange of .35 air changes per hour, or 8 air changes per day. You can find an operation sheet for the PTL @ www.renewaire.com, downloads, residential, controls, PTL. A chart shows a starting point of ventilation based on the square footage x 8 foot ceiling height with a run time percentage for each model. For 2250 square feet with 8 foot ceilings, the run time for an EV130 is 85%, cycling hourly.

Actual run time will vary by tightness of house, number of occupants, lifestyle (number and frequency of pollutant generating activities). Outside weather conditions should have little effect on run time percentage. I run my system @ 50% year round, when the windows are shut.

The ERV tempers humidity and temperature extremes of the ventilation air year round. It is not a substitute for heating or A/C; it does not dehumidify the house in summer (it does reject some of the incoming summer humidity content, when the net humidity is greater outside than inside). It will lower humidity of the house in winter, or whenever the net humidity outside is lower than inside.

It will ventilate the house in an energy efficient manner all year long. Based on this information, choose a setting and manage the amount of run time to achieve your best IAQ.

Hunter 730 carbon pre-filter replacement orange light

Filter lights on your Air Purifier http://www.fastbrowser.net/netpicker/Filter-lights-on-your-Airifie.htm One of the best things about your IQAir Air Purifier is that it has warning lights to tell you when to change the prefilter, gas or hepa filters. Of course how long they last depends on your pattern of usage. For the initial 80% of the filter life the control panel will display a green light next to the corresponding filter on the outline of the unit. When the orange light goes on it does not mean that the filter needs to be replaced immediately but that there is 20% of useful life left. IQAir gives you plenty of time and the machine will tell you how many hours you have left. Once the number of hours gets to within a few hours remaining the orange light will then change to red. It is at this time you should change the filter. If you forget to change it and there are no hours left the hours will go into the negative displaying how many hours you have gone over and the red light will change to a flashing red light.

Just in case you have lost the manual like one of our customers, this is how you reset the filter lights:
1. Press the menu button ( 7 times) until you get to where the display says new filter.
2. Press the enter button and hold it down for 3 seconds and a number 1 will be flashing after the words new filter on the display. This flashing number is so you can enter which filter you have changed. Filter number 1 is the pre-filter, filter number 2 is the V-5 gas filter, and filter number 3 is the Hepa filter.
3. You change the number for the filter by pressing the up arrow button.
4. Once you reach the correct filter number you press the enter button and the control panel will display a question mark after the words new filter on the display. Below this it will say, E = Yes M = Cancel. If you wish to cancel the entry so it does not reset a new filter life, simply press the Menu button.
5. If you want it to reset the filter life for the changed filter, simply press the Enter button. Once this is done, the filter light will change back to the green light, which will show the filter has been changed. If you go to the remaining filter life on the control panel for the filter number you just changed, you will now see the remaining life of the filter in hours has been reset.
