There are two possible problems:

1. The camera is defective.
2. Operator error.

In most cases, #2 is the answer. Digital cameras are convenient, but are sensitive. They have very bright flash units and often wash out the picture that you are trying to take, especially if the item is reflective, you are close to it, and taking the shot straight on. Thus, many users turn the flash off to get the picture to look better. Now the camera has to work differently. In order to get the right amount of light to get a good picture, it will slow down the shutter response. This lets more light onto the CCD and results in a brighter picture without the flash. BUT, the slower speed means that you must be very still in order to prevent blurring, and many users cannot get the hang of it. Also, some cameras do not adjust well to lower light and thus are not only blurry, but dark as well. Try shooting different scenes, indoor as well as outdoor, short, mid and long range in different lighting conditions. If everything is dark and blurry, regardless of the situation, then as a last resort, have another person try to take a few shots. If they are no better at it, then blame the camera. Otherwise, just practice with it until you get good at it. Some cameras are more user-friendly than others.

Toshiba 50H81 very dark, blurry picture on all inputs.

check if the problem looks zig zag looking or it its not present in the PIP window. If so this may be an issue with the hypermodule - you can google TV repair Kits to find parts.

Olympus E-510 Flash & Auto-Focus Problems

Sounds like the main circuit board has got problems. If its under warranty use the manufacturer. But if not a camear store should be able to provide a quote. I admit that the repair will be about 150-180 because of the time involved in replacing the board and possibly the flash unit.
But quotes before bankruptcy..

Having problem with blurry pictures, loading fast blurry pic,

yeah you changed the quality of the picture with the speed choice, you can attempt to fix it using an image editing program. If you downloaded this picture as it sounds then you can just download it again, and choose the slow option, but if it doesn't give you the choice it will be in the preferences or tools menu in your browser

My pictures turn out blurry

try using a camera tripod or leaning against something sturdy, like a building or tree, especially when really zoomed in! As the light dims, the camera will choose a slower shutter speed and/or wider aperture (in automatic) to produce a picture that is not too dark. As a result, the camera may take blurry pictures, especially if the camera or subject moves. There is a setting for landscape, which uses a very small aperture, and just about everything from close to far away can be in focus. Hope this helps!

Blurry picture

Just a shot in the dark but the first thing i do when i get a blurry rptv in my shop is clean the mirror. Dust can accumulate and create a blurred image. You must be careful however as some of the mirrors are Front Surface mirrors and require special cleaning solutions/techniques. If thats the case using a damp cloth could ruin the mirror. I hope this was helpful.

My screen shows a blurry picture and it takes a blurry picture. it didnt used to. what is wrong? how do i fix it?

I have the exact same problem. When I was in NY last fall, suddenly my camera would only take blurry pictures. I hadn't changed any settings or anything. I can get halfway decent pictures in Auto mode, but any of the other settings only take blurry pictures. Apparently a lot of people have this problem, but no one knows how to solve it...

Trying to take pictures in low light conditions inside a theater.

when you use high ISO like 800-1600 it will create big novice on image, and when you using law ISO it will be dark for sure.
so the solution is switch cam to TV mode and put into very law shutter speed and use ISO 200-400,make sure you are connected to tripod or else you will not get fine results with law shutter speed. point is when you use law shutter speed camera will take more light to censor even with law ISO your images will be perfect.

Out of focus

How old is the set? If picture is really very blurry, Try adjusting 'focus'. You can find this conttrol generally at the rear of the set. Otherwise,. if you know solid state electronics, Check the Focus control on the FBT. It is also possible that the CTR Base is faulty. Replacing this helps.
