Why wont the Power button on Zenius printer work after firmware upgrade?

your firmware update is searching for a code on the toner cartridge you must install a samsung cartridge now that you did the upgrade

1. Switch on the HP Officejet 6700 series printer and wait until the printer is READY. [The Power light should be on]
2. Double click on OJ6700_R1435A.exe to launch the HP Printer Update utility. A list of OfficeJet 6700 Premium series printers detected will be displayed on the screen.
   
   Note: If the Wired network printer you wish to upgrade is not displayed in the detected printer list, click on the Refresh button to scan for printers connected via the wired network.
3. Click on the checkboxes on the left to select single or multiple OfficeJet 6700 series printers you wish to upgrade.
4. Click on the Update button to start the firmware flashing process.
5. Message showing "The selected printer has been updated successfully" will be displayed. Firmware flashing will begin.
   
   CAUTION! Do not interrupt the printer during the upgrade process. Printer may be damaged if power is interrupted during the firmware upgrade process.
6. When the printer has successfully completed the flashing process, it will automatically print out a Self Test Diagnostic Page, that will show the new firmware version.
7. Click on the Done button to close the HP Printer Update utility.

Possible that the firmware that you upgraded was not the correct one for your unity. Double check that you have the correct upgrade.

firmware corruption issue you will need to remove that printer from computer screen then reinstall it

then do firmware installation pre upgrade to stabilize(use cd or download of older version of firmware

once that's done then try the update again which won't work if old firmware is corrupted

Firmware error, try perform a cold reset on the printer.
Turn off and on the power switch, when printer start count memory press enter button until select language came up in display, release the enter button, use the arrow until cold reset is displayed, press enter and the printer will reboot. When the printer goes to ready upgrade firmware on it.

HI! if reseting the router wont work by reseting it while its on.. do the hard reset, how? press the reset button while power is on and then after 10secs, unplug the power on the back of the router for 2secs and plug in while the reset button is still press, press it for 15secs.. then release.. leave it unplug for 10secs and plug in. if this issue wont fix, try to download the latest firmware for the router and upgrade the firmware.. after download is done, connect the router to ur computer and access the setup page of the router and do the upgrade..

I had the exact same problem. Upgrading the firmware solved the problem, but it took some effort.
The firmware update is found on RCA's website here under downloads. You must first hook up the player. Download the updater to a file folder on your computer. Run the software....and I had to use one of the troubleshooting tips that is available in the firmware upgrade to even get my machine to recognize the mp3 player. That trick was to unhook the player. Push and hold down the play button as you reconnect the player into the computer...and remain holding the play button down until the player is recognized. All of these steps are in the firmware upgrade program. It's crazy to me that you have to start the program to upgrade the firmware before they give you any idea on how to make it work (especially if your mp3 player seems dead).
Anyway. I lost all my saved media, but the player is working again.

There is an update for your printer. This is a firmware update. A firmware update, rewrites code located on the printer's main system board. The latest update is dated 10/17/08.

Flashing firmware does not have a go back element or undo, so it is really important that we verify your model and what seiries of printer you have. I suspect you have a CLP-300 Series printer and that the 310 of the 300 just describes some features added or left off and even who you purchased it from, in many cases.

Please look at these two photos and then post the data off the name plate for your model number in particular.



You will notice there are two lines to include in your reply.
1.) The Model: (first line)
2.) M/C entry (second to last entry in this photo of the label.

Samsung has released a new Software upgrade file for print quality, automatic error recovery, and toner save mode on color laser printers.

Procedure to Set-up Download Mode on Your Printer - CLP-300 series
Turn power off.
While holding down the ‘STOP’ button on the Printer, turn the Printer back on.
Keep holding down the ‘STOP’ button until all the LEDs turn orange.
Then release the ‘STOP’ button, and press it again, one more time.

After firmware upgrade is completed, green LED lights will light up.

When firmware upgrade is started, status LED light will start blinking.
As the printer reinitializes, status LED light will automatically turn off and then on.
Firmware upgrade is complete when status LED stays on green.

After firmware upgrade is completed, the LCD will display the message ‘Ready Copy’ and the LEDs will stay on green.

4. If there is an Error after firmware upgrade
If LED is on red or blinking after firmware upgrade, set-up download mode again and re-try the firmware upgrade.
