Check for voltage output on your power supply and make sure that it is reaching the device. If still nothing then your frame is shot.

How do I check this? I have tried plugging it into two additional outlets. Nothing

  • richie46 Nov 01, 2015

Use a voltmeter to check for DC output from the adapter.

Kodak digital frame shuts off after 5 to 15 seconds

This sounds like a setting issue on the photo frame. You should check for a timer for screen time on the frames menu.

Shuts off after short Use.

You can try to reset the frame by pressing the RESET button at the back of the frame try to check the small hole that only paper clip can fit in, once done with reseting upgrade the firmware of your picture frame again even it has the latest version of the firmware

Breadman pro stopped working

it is defenitely a power problem some of them have internal resets and you should check. also you could have a malfunction of the power supply module on the circuit main board. if there is no reset then i suggest that you take it to a aplliance repair shop and have a tech replace the circuit module.

Slow doing anything!

I figured out, purely by accident, that you don't PUSH the "Reset" button on the left side of the unit (as I was told by two different Tech Support "Specialists" on two separate phone calls), but rather you SLIDE IT UPWARDS, using something like a paper clip or other pointed object. Tech support had me trying to PUSH it in for almost a half hour, and then suggested I go to the extent of downloading and installing a firmware upgrade.

SLIDING the Reset switch solved the problems in seconds!

Will not turn on

I've just experienced the same issue. I spoke with a Garmin tech about this and explained that I had also tried using the reset button, several different outlets, and the USB cable. The tech seemed very familiar with this issue and immediately recommended that I download the most recent software update from their website, then leave the unit unplugged for 24 - 48 hours to fully discharge the battery. He claimed that the unit was actually on, but a software glitch prevented both the reset and power buttons from functioning and also prevented anything from being displayed on the screen. He suggested that once the battery has completely drained, it will power up again when plugged into the USB port of your computer. The software update is said to help prevent the problem from recurring. I am still waiting for the battery to discharge so I have been unable to get this fix to work for myself yet.
