I thought my battery was dead and then I tried the reset button and it turned back on and now the battery seems to be recharging.

Seems to be dead .wont turn on when plugged into the cigarette lighter Garmin street pilot c 510

Hello,

Before writing the unit off as dead I would try obtaining a new 12v power cable and maybe try your cable in someone else vehicle, often the 12v power in your car can short not providing power to the GPS.

Hope this helps!

Our garmin street pilot c330 tells us the battery is dead when it's plugged in and then goes blank. Can this type of battery be replaced?

yes the battery needs to be replaced, even when the GPS has external power the battery must be good for it to work,

Help me unlock my gps i do not remember my pin # all i can remember is there is 6 # in the pin please help me

Take it back to the 'secure location' as indicated in your service manual. It will automatically unlock when it gets a full satellite signal. You have to enter the PIN number twice when setting up the unit. You should always use a number which is familiar to you so you can remember it. If you can't remember it, and if your secure location doesn't unlock the unit, you will need to send the unit to Garmin to unlock it. You will need your receipt for Garmin to unlock the unit.

Garmin street pilot c340 battery appeared low, used USB cable to hook up pilot with my computer but device doesn't appear to turn on, computer cannot locate device on Drivers, can I rechare steet pilot...

I followed the instructions of the Online manual for the Garmin Street Pilot c-340, I removed the faceplate of the Street Pilot and then using my thumb pressed down on the reset button. I then pressed the power on button on the side of the device- the screen lit up, I then plugged one end of the USB cable into my computer and the other end into the device. The information on the screen of the device indicated the Lithium Battery was charging properly.
