seems to me this will need more than most people can do. tracking down the problem will require a lot of testing of transistors and such... but just maybe it's nothing more than a loose ground wire on the circuit that powers that side. Good luck.

On an 03 bagger it will be under the seat. You'll have to remove it. Under the seat is the battery you should see a little silver clip towards the back ledge of the battery tray. That's the turn signal module. Remove the clip and pull the unit up amd out.

The 23 pin main connector is a direct plug in from the 03 bike to the HK unit. The only issue would be if the original 03 was using the accessory connector as well. The accessory connector on the 03 is another 23 pin. It's a 35 pin on the HK. For more info, or to discuss this further, contact Iron Cross Audio (www.ironcrossaudio.com)

There is a High power version of that radio. Amp was internal. possibly going bad. www.radiosound.com may be able to help

I don't know how to remove the echos from you video but think I know what is causing them.
Normal 0 Two things can cause static.
First, If you have your speakers turned up to high it will give you feedback causing distortion and static. I'd use headphones during videoing.
Second reason is, if you are using a laptop and have added an external microphone between the two it will cause distortion and static.
Not knowing the configuration of your computer makes it harder to analyze the problem.
