I cnt open the outside pully in the bottom it tight
Your timing marks should be on the belt. There are two single lines and one double line across the surface of the belt. Each of the single lines line up with the cam shaft and the balance shaft drive gears. The double line lines up with the crank gear. If I remember right, there is a small mark on the oil pump housing that the crank mark lines up with and the cam mark is straight up and there are 2 other marks on the cam gear that line up with the head.
Hi Mr Dan this car as 1 cam pully on top & 1 pully in yhe bottom can pls assit me wih a diagram to see better pls & head bolts torque settings pls
I do not have the torque settings but do remember that they are 3 step head bolts. You have an initial torque setting then you have an angle and then another angle, but do not remember what the settings were. And are you sure that you do not have a balance shaft? I distinctly remember two single lines and one double line on the timing belt.

SOURCE: 2004 aveo timing belt broke, all valves bent
just go to any junk yard and find a used deawoo lanos and pull the head if timing belt was not broke, if it looks good, its a exact fit 100%, no special tools needed, just normal wrench set and torqe wrench. after head is installed, get a gates timing belt only.
SOURCE: Chevy Aveo 1.6 Engine, Timing Belt Broke, Replaced,Runs Rough?
Did you have the dealer change the belt because it broke ?
If this is the case they should know if it is an interfearance engine and if it is in fact an interference engine they should have checked the valves. If you had the belt changed just because you were scared it was going to break on you then I am sure the car ran fine when you took it in.
The explanation you gave sounds to me like they have the belt a tooth off and they need to re do it because the timing is out.
I hope this helps

You need to replace your BTSI (brake transaxle shift interlock) solenoid. I have replaced MANY and it is the problem 99% of the time. The only other thing it could be is your BTSI fuse so check it first. All you have to do is remove the shifter assembly and install a new BTSI solenoid (couple of screws and two connector terminals) and you will be driving in no time. Hope this helps!!
SOURCE: need timing marks for Daewoo engine in Chevy Aveo
The crankshaft gear has a triangle timing mark on it. On the outside of the gear near the teeth. This points straight down, and lines up with a notch, on the bottom of the rear timing cover.
The camshafts have a mark on the outside of the gear, near the teeth. The camshafts are turned, so that the marks are to the inside, (in-between the gears), and the marks point to each other.

hi..as you look at the engine, the left camshaft pully should have the I alligned at the top with the mark on the cover, as the camshaft pully to the right with the E should also be at the top aligned with the mark on the cover, and the crank should have its mark also at the top ( the cut out behind the pully ) should line up with the mark on the casing i have a diagram if you want it...hope this helps
