I have a hoover hav 340. A few days ago I noticed that the refrigerator was not really cooling and the motor kept going on 24 hours a day. Yesterday stopped working at all. The engine seems to work (well, it makes an almost normal noise) the light works, but inside it doesn't get cold at all.
Any idea on what the problem is? I really don't know where to start from.

TAKE FOOD OUT CLEAN WELL.
IF THE FREZZER IS STILL COLD .
UN PLUG YOUR UNIT FOR 24 HR .
DRY UP ALL WATER .IT MAY START WORKING WHEN ITS PLUGED BACK IN.

I did what you suggest. however the freezer was not cold, and I had to get rid of the food. the refrigerator is clean. no water. the unit has been unplugged for over 24 hours, but when I pluged it back did not work. no cold at all.
I'd like to know what could be the cause of the problem: motor, or other electrical/electronic stuff?
