I got a jamed trunk lock open after being rearended with a cheep fast food flexible plastic knife it may help. Once open will you replace said handle? or complete door from auto recycler? If so you could probably drill out the locking mechanism but may destroy the door you may replace anyway. Good luck

I eventually found the answer to my problem on a website called kia-forums.com telling me to open the glove box and pull it sharply and backwards.it disconnects from the plastic hinges. The filters are easy to replace by unclipping the cover which is easy to see. This is for a 2004 kia carens
