Recently purchased a Dell laptop and have tried unsuccessfully to load a picture from 'picture library' to my facebook and load the pic as my profile picture... Can you help, please?

You deleted your old account? That was a bad idea. Contact Facebook directly, but according to their terms of service, they don't owe you anything.

To upload a profile picture:

1. Place your mouse over the upper right corner of your current profile picture or temporary image, and click on the pencil icon that appears.


2. Select "Browse" to find a photo on your computer to upload.


3. Select the photo to upload, check the box certifying that you have the right to distribute the picture and that it is not ****, and click "upload picture." If the picture is an acceptable size and file type, it will display.

Im guessing its spyware or malware. May even be a nasty virus! But firstly before we get into that it might just be a little browser bug! Everyone can get them. Its basically your browser conflicting in a bad way with your computer.
I highly advise using Google Chrome as an internet browser. Its fast efficient and appreciated by alot of people.
If using another web browser does not help try downloading Spybot S&D search it in google. Run a full scan.
If that also fails then try updating your flash by going to google and searching the latest version.
