Re: micro panel does not start oven

The first thing to try is a "hard reset": Unplug it from the power line for a few minutes, plug it back in, then try again.

If that doesn't fix it, can you describe the icon? Does the manual show the icon?

Please write back with more details if you need further help.

This may be a bad door switch, a loose door switch mount, or a problem on the control panel.

Our Advantium 120 oven (model # SCA1001KSS 02, Manufactured June 2008)is not working. Began w/ time not coming on when cooking and just a little green microwave light shows while cooking.

Typical of a control microchip failure caused by a power surge. With a microwave as old as yours, it is safest to simply replace the entire oven rather than attempt to fix it, as older magnetrons are likely to fail.

My panasonic micro-oven is working but the fan and turntable are not operating.

HI.oven has a small DC motor thats turns the turnatable..Now if turntable does not rotate then yuo need to remove the bottom cover of the oven..Unscrew it and check if motor is working ..You can check continuity of the motor using a MULTITESTER..If it is short-circuited or not.Hope this helps.FAN and turntable is being run by this DC motor..Hope this helps.

Micro 6654438991 power surge from pole, light works, panel dead

Sounds like you should get estimates and turn in on homeowners insurance. Power surges are very destructive and you have lost the control board at least and maybe some switches. Eric

Does not start !

This is usually caused by either a bad door switch, a loose door switch mount, or a problem on the control panel.

Even though a door switch clicks, it may still be bad inside.

This can be caused by slamming the door or by habitually opening the door while it's cooking without hitting the Stop pad first.
