Method 1:

Does it ask for PUK code? If yes contact your service provider. They will give you it for free.

I'm in tanzania, i can't use my phone( sumsung galaxys, model SGH-I897) becouse network is LOCKED, i want to UNLOCK, Pleas i'm asking if you can help me to get the UNLOCK CODE.

What do you mean unlock simcard? if you have forgotten your pin code, enter it wrong 3 times and puk code will be asked call your carrier or service provider to get the puk code and set a new pin.

PUK number is provided by the Sim card company's like Airtel , Vodafone, then just call the sim card company call center from your friends phone or land line... and then the service provider give you the puk2 and PIN2 code... and than enter it in your phone and solve the problem.

a PUK block means that some how your sim card got blocked. a simple way to fix this is just to call into your carriers customer service, and tell them you have a puk block on your phone, you may need to call from a different phone because they should give you a unlock code for that. if they cant, you will need to do a sim card switch, and just get a new sim card, you may lose your data if you do, do that.

The PUK is a unique number that is assigned to your SIM card. Your SIM is blocked not the phone. If you try another SIM in the phone it should work just fine.
