My quickie controller shows a picture of a yellow padlock when I turn it on. it then turns off. Ideas?

Parts are readily available. The neoprene protection sheets do go rotten with age. Looks like they sell the pad complete.

Press and hold power button til beep then push joystick forward and hold joystick til beep then pull the joystick back and hold joystick til beeps. turn power off then on. should be unlocked now

I think you have locked your controller, or put it in "sleep mode". Turn on the chair again and push the joystick forward, then to reverse, then forward again and release. It should fire up. Let us know if that worked.

Rapid discharge usually is a sign of weak batteries, and they should be replaced if the charge indicates that they are full after charging for several hours, and then dissipate rapidly.

If your not getting a full charge indication after several hours, then you need to check the charger to make sure it is putting out about 28 Volts DC. If it is, then it is for sure the batt's.

The sweeping lights should not occur when the chair is off the charger. They sweep while on charge to tell you that it is charging and you can't move the chair. If they sweep while off the charger, turn off and restart and it should go. If not, call a tech. rep. for Quickie.

Press the 'Oven light' for about seven seconds...

press menu and the trash / delete buttons at the same time. Hold for 3 seconds until it beeps. WALA unlocked:):)

The HOLD switch is activated. This is a feature that allows you to lock all the buttons, so you don't switch it on & off accidentally.

Flick the switch on the side!
